As people are constantly on-the-go, Knoxville Raceway realized the need to connect with race fans in the stands and around the world. In addition to promoting raceway news, events and sponsors, they wanted to allow users to taste the racing action even if they were unable to attend.
Iowa Web Development created the first mobile app for a dirt track in the world! We integrated with our website CMS to display event, news, and driver information. In addition, we integrated with the timing and scoring system to display real-time race information, lineups, and point calculations. The app also allows users to receive push notifications right on their device, displaying breaking news, race results, sponsor specials, and more!
